Author Appearances
I love connecting with book lovers of all ages to discuss the writing journey. I've spoken at events across the country, including The National Book Festival, The Sonoma Authors Festival, School Library Journal's Middle Grade Magic, and several Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators conferences. I also enjoy chatting with smaller groups, too, like Scout troops and book clubs.

School Visits
My school program is geared for students ages 8-12. It features a Powerpoint presentation focusing on my path to publication, the writing and publishing process, and my current book projects. It may also include an audience Q&A, reading, writing prompt or game. The virtual and in-person programs are identical.
Length: Approx. 40 min
A book order through your local bookseller is appreciated. I will stay after an in-person visit to sign books or send bookplates for virtual events. To get started, please reach out via the contact form below!
School Visit Fees
Virtual visit: $250 per presentation
(up to three per day).

In-person visit: $500 per presentation
(up to two per day) plus travel expenses if outside the Seattle area.
